Its very impossible for a person to have no mother and improbable for a mother not to know her own child.

The soaring id theft incidents are already at an alarming stage. The thieves have become skillful and very sophisticate in the execution of their evil motives. They are now employing the technologies of the internet to expand their hateful craft.

The internet is the zone for id theft targets of these criminals and the usual aim are the social networkers. Most often they befriend some of them so they can have access to their profile and get whatever valuable personal data they can grasp. They will get your email account and personal details then you will receive different mails in several forms of various schemes just to perfect the jigsaw if youre a potential victim.

Usually, they send an email with a very professional approach and they use very credible offices or Government agencies to be more alluring. But if youre a very keen person you will notice that there is a pattern on all these mails whatever the form or from whichever office they come from. You may be wondering why a reputable company or Government office sends you a mail with wrong grammar, incorrect spelling and so many conflicting issues.

The senders may reflect different names, but the patterns and contents are more or less the same. Check it out yourself if you have these types of mails and youll see what is there to see. When you have taken the bait the next thing you will know is about money you need to spend for this and that which you need to send to so and so to be used by and by to perfect the whole deal.

Millions of US dollars can truly attract you but sending them the amount needed for processing your documents which are in their custody is crazy. You do not even know these guys, so they let you know who they are by sending some photos. Beware! Those people in the photos are also their victims. They never get tired doing these unscrupulous things over and over again for they have found a lucrative business with id theft.

I am fed up with the advertisements promising FREE CREDIT REPORTS. Aren’t you? To my mind there is no such thing as a Free Credit Report. In fact, in my opinion, it’s a money making scam on behalf of unscrupulous Credit Report companies.

The moment we have finished completing our personal information, we then have to give them all our bank details prior to anything being released. This being after we have been seduced onto their websites via the most annoying and disliked pop-ups which must cost them the earth.

If you have heard of the term recurring billing, then no doubt you will know Googles description, which means, …Transactions for which a cardholder grants permission to the merchant to periodically charge his account number for recurring goods or services… I question whether or not these companies are using this as an income strategy whilst claiming this is as a means of identity verification.

This catch is of course not immediately obvious to us, but we get it when the debits start to drain our credit cards. Reliant on the fact that many of us forget to cancel subscriptions, they debit us every month and sometimes even twice per month (more in a later Article). This is how many companies offering Free Credit Reports make their money out of us. Outrageous!!!!!

Right now, during the current financial turmoil, they are benefitting from our helplessness, and until tighter regulations are introduced, and more opposition to these companies materialises, we will not benefit from a fairer trading environment.

So now that bit is over and done with, if someone is stating that their service is FREE, then regrettably, and inevitably, there will be some sort of catch or trap concerned. These companies are here as a safeguard for us and our financial matters and to defend us from Credit Card Fraud, Internet Fraud, Identity Theft and Cheque Fraud, yet some may see their ethics as a SCAM in itself!

So not only are we potentially paying for this Free Service, but we have to offer them our credit card details as well! Surely we should not have to part with our credit card details, as this service is supposed to be FREE? A typical example of their Terms and Conditions reads.. …after your 10-day FREE trial period it’s just 25.95 per month. Remember, you can call us within the first 10 days to cancel, and you will not be charged the 25.95. To ensure continuous service, at the end of your trial period your membership will be automatically charged each month at the then-current membership fee…

We also have to consider that at times these companies do not offer a satisfactory level of service, and their blunders can blight our whole financial credibility. This can have a destructive effect on you in the future and I will highlight these in an upcoming article which will be issued soon. In the meantime, never forget to terminate your subscription, or ACCEPT THE CHARGES!

Anything can happen within a day when one becomes victim of ID theft. It is therefore important to spot the signals or to identify the insinuations leading to the commission of this crime. The most devastating thing that can happen to anyone is to be a victim of the fast growing scam industry, which is also considered as the crime of the New Millennium: id theft”.

In fact, we may not be aware that we have been paying for these Free Reports on an ongoing basis, until we realise that our credit cards are being debited. Too many of us fail to remember to stop our subscriptions, and as a result they debit our accounts on a monthly basis, and on occasions, even twice a month. This will be covered in a later article. So this is how these Free Credit Report companies earn revenue from us. Despicable, is it not!!

During this period of financial insecurity, we are a bit more vulnerable, and if more competition were to be is introduced, and legislation tightened, we may get the opportunity of benefitting from a fairer deal.
